All of these Purple Martin houses include a wooden mounting bracket that makes installation onto a 4x4 post quick and easy. For best results, Purple Martin Houses should be placed 8-18 feet above ground and 30-40 feet away from inhabited structures and large trees. Purple Martins begin arriving in the southern U.S. around February and work their way to the northern parts of the U.S. in early April. With a little care and a watchful eye, you should be able to enjoy the splendor the Purple Martins will bring to your neighborhood.
