A twist on traditional cupolas, Castle Cupolas boast an impressive height to
width ratio making them regal in stature. This Vinyl Rockingham Castle Cupola features a hip style copper roof and shiplap base. It is made of high-quality solid Vinyl and roof is topped with 16-ounce 24-gauge copper. These beautiful vinyl cupolas are virtually maintenance free and have the look, sound and feel of premium lumber. In selecting the right size Castle Cupola for your home, barn or building, a good rule of thumb is 1.25" of cupola rooftop for every foot of 'unbroken' roof line. For example: if a roof section measures 24' the minumum cupola rooftop size should be 30". However, we usually suggest the next size larger. Our experience tells us it provides for a more pleasing appearance. If the cupola is too small, it will look like a bird house on your home, barn or building. These cupolas are 'weathervane ready' so they do not require a roof mount or any additional hardware. They come in three sections (Roof, Middle, Base) for easy installation and fit up to a 12/12 pitch. You will only need a hand saw and a screwdriver! Complete, easy step-by-step instructions are included. Castle Cupolas are even more impressive when using 2 per roofline!
Rule of thumb for 2 Castle Cupolas is 1" for every foot of unbroken roof line.
