This handcrafted Classic Cupola is made of specially selected Cedar and features a pagoda style copper or aluminum roof with a smooth exterior ply base. We also offer this cupola in Poplar wood for those looking for an economical cost-effective alternative. This style cupola can also be ordered 'weathervane-ready' with hole in top and crossbrace inside to accept any of our copper weathervanes. In selecting the right size cupola for your home, barn or building, a good rule of thumb is 1.25" of cupola rooftop for every foot of 'unbroken' roof line. For example: if a roof section measures 20' the minumum cupola rooftop size should be 25". However, we usually suggest the next size larger. Our experience tells us it provides for a more pleasing appearance. If the cupola is too small, it will look like a bird house on your home, barn or building.
